Fort Gibson Lake, OK May 15th 2004

"We won the semi pro division with a weight of 12.49# with 10 fish. I believe there were 53 semi pro teams. I think there were 101 total teams and we had the heaviest stringer of all. Caught our fish trolling minnows and jigs tipped with Crappie nibbles in 8-12' water on Wally Marshall 10-12' jig poles with 8# high visibility Wally line. We had a good day. They said our total winnings were worth around $18,000.

Semi-Pro Division Results

Taking first place and a $30,000.00 Ranger Boat package was the team of Jerry Hancock of Mc Kinney, TX and Craig Carpenter of Wylie, TX bringing in 10 crappie weighing a total of 12.49 pounds. Hancock and Carpenter were slow trolling in 8 to 12 feet of water using live bait. This was the first time the team had fished the lake. The team also won the $150.00 Minn Kota Bonus for using a Minn Kota trolling motor in the event. The Ranger Boat package also included an Evinrude outboard, Minn Kota Trolling Motor and Garmin Electronics
