I took a trip with Paul on Ray Roberts for some summer time deep timber crappie fishing. I can tell you that Paul knows that lake like the back of his hand! If there is a boat lane through the timber he knows where it is!
Paul is a great guide. He is very informative and isn't just there to get fish fish in the boat. He teaches you how to catch fish so you can go out and do it yourself.
We were fishing in deep timber with jigs in the middle of summer when most crappie fisherman have given up until fall. We caught a ton of fish and had a great time. We came back to the ramp with a live well full of slabs for the fryer.
I appreciate the opportunity to fish with you Paul and would recommend you to anyone who wants to get out there and catch some HOT summer crappie.
